#71 Ellie Goulding + Kanye West + Vega Choir + Urban Noize

Today we are all about choir sounds. Yes you heard correctly. Ellie Gouldings recently released 'I Know You Care' is a minor cord melodic piece which utilizes memorable choir input. The unison ahha ahhha is repeated strategically throughout the song, building on its overall deep feeling of wisdom and remorse. Moving from the topic of sadness but maintaining the choir theme today, I also present to you Kanye West and Vega Choir mixed together by Urban Noize to make one hell of a epic track. Good things come in small doses, so unfortunately this one is only 2 minutes long. so there you have it. two songs that incorporate a choir and sound very awesome. These obviously aren't the sort of tracks you want blasting at a party, instead something for self reflection or chilling out time. Anyway have a listen and download below!

#70 RAC + Penguin Prison

There is always room for new! Remix Artist Collective also known as RAC are a very exciting bunch of people that stray far from the boundaries of any ordinary band. This group of international members strives to produce top quality remixes without the drum and bass filled club vibe. Instead they are passionate about creating new incarnations of the songs that stem from the original structure.

RAC was created in 2007 by Andrew Maury (New York), Andre Allen Anjos (Portugal) and Karl Kling (Portland). Ever since there beginning they have released a few mixtapes filled with remixes and the occasional self produced track. Earlier this year, additional member, Chris Glover along with founder Andre AA. released 'Hollywood'- a well received/blogged single featuring Penguin Prison. This song has a very breezy easy feel too it, somewhat reminiscent of 'The Virgins' material. I wouldn't say it's the best track out at the moment but it certainly is catchy. Have a listen and tell me what you think. Don't forget to like GME on facebook.

Good thing come in double! both are legally downloadable via the links in the SoundCloud Widgets

#69 MSMR

Don't worry everyone I'm not dead, I apologize for the infrequency of my posts lately. I can't really say that this problem will be rectified as I'm overburdened with engineering university assignments which should have been completed over the holidays. However in true beach-bum style I've been wasting my time surfing and partying in, Queenslands infamous Goldcoast.

During my sun filled expeditions a friend of friend introduced to MSMR and their track 'Hurricane'. I'm in love with this song! 'Hurricane' isn't one of those simply songs, which require prior attention before the ears start to wiggle. Instead, on first play, 'Hurricane' feels like a long lost dream, inducing somewhat of a déjà vu sense that entices the urge to replay.

The American duo released 'Hurricane' 5 months ago and followed up with an awesome EP 'Candy Bar Creep Show' which was released earlier this month. In my eyes, these guys haven't received enough praise for their work. Maybe I'm just being too critical of the music industries discovery delay. Anyway MSMR have all the goods, you should be expecting big things from them in the future! have a listen and download below.

#68 Adventure Club

You ether find excellent or really horrific music in the Dubstep genre. Success lies in the ability to tame the wooble into something efficient without disturbing the flow, when this is mastered really breath taking tracks are produced. The Canadian duo Adventure Club are certainly "Dubstep Masters". Ever since their formation in 2011, the tracks have been flowing in, with precise bass and matching vocals. Below is a list of my favourites. Have a listen. Download via the Soundcloud widgets.

#67 On An On

On An On is the new Scattered Trees minus brother Jason and Baron Harper. The brothers announced their withdrawal just under a year ago, without them the remaining trio Nate Eiseland, Alissa Ricci and Ryne Estwing, have been happily producing away. Moving on from the previously indie rock style to a slightly hazier experiential pop sound. On An On proudly announced their first track Ghosts a month ago for their forthcoming album, set to be released January 29th 2013. personally I love both their new and old material. However with said, I can only marvel at this bands speedy recovery and thus am highly impressed with their new track. Have a comparison for yourself - New Vs Old, also download Ghosts below.

#66 Kimbra + A-Trak + Mark Foster

What happens when you put a hot Kiwi, a DJ and band leader all in one room? You get one sexy song. Warrior by Mark Foster (from Foster The People), Kimbra and A-Trak have put their heads together to create a killer track. On close inspection the warrior is a unsuppressed mergence of each artists style, nothing is lost and each artists specific sounds are reflected through this piece. The Brew highlights; A-trak's epic electronic mastery, Kimbras spectacular voice and Mark's unavoidable catchy bridges. Have a listen and download below.
